Open most "best AI tools" lists and the images are either the vendor's hero shot or a logo. Neither tells you what the product actually looks like today.

Every tool on all-ai.tools gets an automated screenshot of its live homepage, captured with a headless browser and stored with the exact date and time. You see that stamp right on the card, so you always know how fresh the preview is.

Why it matters

Products change. A dated screenshot lets you spot a redesign, a pivot, or a site that's gone dark — signals that a polished marketing image would hide. It also keeps us honest: if a capture fails repeatedly, that tool gets flagged for review.

It's a small thing, but it's the difference between a directory that reflects reality and one that reflects marketing.
